The new 3D robotic cell that left Desmasa last week destined for a large automotive sector company has now been installed and is operational.
On this occasion oriented towards milling, the system has smaller dimensions than previous versions but maintains the clean, simple look that defines Desmasa machines. It adapts at all times to the client’s requirements, not only with regard to the dimensions but also, and most importantly, to functionality.
As has already been mentioned on other occasions, these cells are characterized by their reliability, precision, efficiency, ease of operation and maintenance and, above all, their remarkable versatility.
Thanks to a fully modular design, they are adaptable geometrically as well as according to process (water jet, trimming, laser, plasma, etc.), robotics technology (ABB, Fanuc, Stäubli, Kuka, etc.), PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, etc.) and energy efficiency. This allows us to build ad-hoc machines that meet our clients’ expectations in two ways: one, the machines are designed and manufactured to be seamlessly incorporated into their production cycle; and two, we streamline the installation process and minimize production stoppages, thanks to the system’s advanced technology.
They are clearly a benchmark to be considered, not only in the automotive sector, but in others such as aeronautics, textiles and plastic composites, and we hope to soon undertake new challenges in those lines of business.
