On February 20, the FLL Burgos tournament, for FLL and JuniorFLL in the TrashTreck and
WasteWise challenges, respectively, took place in the University of Burgos.

In line with other educational initiatives in which the company participated actively and that
were aimed at restless youthwith an interest in engineering and its various applications, such
as the HiperbaricChallenge or theMotostudent, DESMASA has sponsored the FLL tournament
that takes place in Burgos for the third year in a row.

This edition focused on responsible waste management, and the teams that participated in the
FLL, constituted by 10-to-16-year-old students, have built and programmed robots that can
gather, classify and manage different kinds of waste, while the 6-to-9-year-old students who
competed in the JuniorFLL have learned that there is more to waste than meets the eye and
many things can be done with it.
