The traceability of the product, that is, the fully automated inspection, presence control, character reading or identification of components, is one of the main actions of DESMASA’s special machinery division, for it contributed to guaranteeing the final quality of the product and maximizing the efficiency of the process of our clients.
DESMASA counts with broad experience in the field of design, fabrication and installation of automated internal logistical transportation solutions for industries in general, both on an individual level (transporters, palletisers, turners, elevators…) and in complete productive lines.
Integrating communication elements in pre-existing process lines and developing custom-made specialized lines, in short, searching constantly for resources focused on time optimization, increasing productive capacities, and improving processes, allows us to offer flexible solutions that more than satisfy the needs exposed by the clients.
More than 15 years serve as our endorsement as designers, manufacturers and industrial automation marketers in various sectors; a guarantee that stems from the important and continuous R&D efforts carried out by our technical office team.
In line with the measurement, control and logistical works, DESMASA develops custom-made software for the client’s productive and management needs, providing new resources to loading systems; product handling and transference lines; artificial vision elements etc. while also developing special automation and robotics projects that don’t fit within the framework of a commercially standardized line.
This division encompasses the design, fabrication and installation of high pressure generators for two different sectors: on the one hand, the hyperbaric pasteurization of various foods (shellfish, meat, dairy…) and, on the other, water jet cutting.
DESMASA has spent more than a decade designing, building and perfecting this type of equipment in order to translate its complex high pressure technology into durability, precision, easy use/control and simple maintenance for the client.
With the capacity to provide work pressures of 6000 bar to the HPP equipment, whichever its structure or conformation, our technology is directly associated to some very high internal R&D requirements that have turned us into a world reference for this type of intensifiers.
The state-of-the-art intensifier R50/4K was developed by DESMASA specifically for water jet cutting, focusing its performance on the requirements posed by the client for this technology:
DESMASA offers individual solutions of tridimensional cutting cells thanks to a wide range of technologies and systems that adapt to the needs of our clients and endorse us as custom-made development specialists.
Designed to adapt to the preferences of our clients regarding robotization technologies (ABB, Fanuc, Stäubli, Kuka…) and PLC (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron…), DESMASA’s cutting cells integrate perfectly into the productive cycle of the piece, regardless to its size, for it has the capacity to process large volume elements.

Aim: to promote innovation in the technological field of SMEs and, with this, improve their competitiveness.
Results: assistance to DESMASA to facilitate access to tax deductions for the 2015 annuality.

Aim: increase productivity and competitiveness of the company through investments in expansion (plot 39) of productive facilities and purchase of new equipment.
Results: expansion of the production building and existing assembly lines.
JUICEBAR: R&D project in cooperation with Hyperbaric S.A., funded by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CITD) and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the operative multi-regional program for Intelligent Growth.
Approved budget: 322,092.00€. Partially reimbursable aid: 273,777.88€.
Aim: design and build a new HPP equipment oriented to a new market, principally made up by small producers of ultra premium juices.
Results: prototype HPP equipment adapted to the target market, compact, simple, reliable and economical.
PROMARE: R&D project in cooperation with N.C. Hyperbaric S.A., N.C. Manufacturing S.A., Nicolás Correa S.A., Ibermaq Capital Goods S.L., the Technological Institute of Castile and León (ITCL), CARTIF Foundation and University of Burgos. Funded by the ministry of Science and Innovation through the subprogram INNPACTO and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Aim: develop new tools that enable the intelligent and proactive maintenance of unique remote machines.
Results: development of a tool that allows enterprises to offer a remote maintenance service to their customers.
